Passau ist located at the junction of three rivers coming from three different directions: the blue Danube, the green Inn and the black Ilz. It is unique in the world to see the green water of the Inn floating above the blue water of the Danube.

The guided tour will start in a narrow lane with copple stones to allow  a glance into all kinds of workshops of artists like painters, scuplturers, wood carvers. It is surpising to remark multicoloured paving stones.  At the Old Town Hall there are the marks of former flood disasters bringing the water up to 12,5 m above see level.

The most magnificent building with three white towers and three green domes on top is the cathedral St. Stephan, housing the biggest cathedral organ in the world with 17,974 pipes and 233 registers. The interior of the cathedral is richly decorated with heavy Italian baroque stucco.  On the gorgeous walk through the ancient city of Passau – often called „Bavarian Venice“ – the tour continues in winding streets and ends up in St. Pauls Church with its unusual black marble altar.
